Services

We utilize advanced diagnostic tools to help us precisely identify sleep disorders. In addition, we offer comprehensive treatments and specialized programs to care for the sleep conditions of our patients. Some of the highlights include:

Sleep Consultation

With expertise in the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea, narcolepsy, insomnia, restless legs syndrome, and circadian rhythm disorders, our physicians create individualized treatment plans focused on the needs of each patient. Your visit to the sleep clinic will include a detailed history and physical exam performed by one of our sleep specialists. Educating our patients about their sleep condition is a major component of our care. We explain all aspects of their condition; elaborate on treatment options and answer any questions they may have. In addition, we provide patients with detailed information on specific aspects of care such as sleep testing.

CPAP Program

Our Coordinators are here to educate patients though all phases of the sleep study process. For patients who are diagnosed with Sleep Apnea and prescribed a CPAP or BiPAP, our expert staff will guide you through a progressive approach to living with the equipment. They are also available as a resource for patients who are currently using CPAP or BiPAP with questions regarding equipment, supplies and insurance.

For patients diagnosed with sleep apnea and prescribed CPAP, our expert staff will meet with you for education and training on the use of the CPAP equipment. Our CPAP coordinators are available to help patients with mask problems, equipment questions and insurance issues.

Insomnia Program

Insomnia is the most common sleep complaint affecting up to one third of adults at least some of the time. Insomnia can have many different causes and requires a thorough assessment. Our experts will perform a comprehensive medical evaluation and develop a treatment plan focusing on non-pharmacological approaches to the treatment of insomnia.

Pediatric Sleep Studies

A sleep study or polysomnogram measures the quality of a person's sleep. This test is extremely valuable for diagnosing and treating many sleep disorders, including neurological disorders, movement disorders, and breathing disorders at night. For studying the quality of sleep, small electrodes (small round metal discs) are applied to your child's scalp, on both sides of your child's head, and under your child's chin. This lets us measure your child's brain waves, eye movements, and muscle tone.
