A dedicated and specialized physician, Dr. Nemivant brings pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine proficiency to his role at DuPage Medical Group. His clinical interests include caring for the critically ill, asthma, cystic fibrosis, emphysema, lung cancer, thoracic oncology, all pulmonary diseases and adults suffering from sleep disorders - specifically sleep apnea and snoring.
Dr. Nemivant received his medical degree in 1998 from Rush Medical College in Chicago. In 2002, he completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Chicago’s Rush Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center where he was intern and resident of the year. He was named Chief Resident in 2001-2002. He completed fellowship training in Pulmonary & Critical Care medicine at Loyola University Medical Center and Hines Veterans Administration Medical Center in Maywood from 2002-2005. He was named Chief Fellow at Loyola University Medical Center 2004-2005 and elected Fellow of the Year in 2005.
Board Certified in Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and Sleep Medicine from both the American Board of Sleep Medicine (ABSM) and American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS). Dr. Nemivant is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians, American Thoracic Society, American Academy of Sleep Medicine and the Chicago Thoracic Society. He is affiliated with Central DuPage, Edward, Elmhurst and Good Samaritan Hospitals, is on the academic staff at Loyola University Medical Center, and is the Executive Council for Rush Alumni Association.
