A warm and caring physician, Joseph Daw, M.D. brings extensive training and experience to his role at DuPage Medical Group. His clinical interests for adults include aesthetic surgery of the face (facelift, rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty) and body (liposuction, breast augmentation, abdominoplasty) and reconstructive surgery of the face. His clinical interests for children include congenital craniofacial anomalies such as cleft lip and palate, craniosynostosis and facial skeletal and jaw disorders.
Dr. Daw received his medical degree in 1991 from Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA and his dental degree in 1986 from Loyola University School of Dentistry in Maywood, IL. He completed residency training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Northwestern University-McGaw Medical Center in 1997 and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL in 1989. He underwent intensive fellowship training in Craniofacial Surgery at the Primary Children’s Medical Center in Salt Lake City in 1998.
Prior to joining DuPage Medical Group, Dr. Daw was Chief, Craniofacial Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Daw has been a mentor for plastic surgeons in training at Northwestern University and the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Dr. Daw is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society of Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons. He is affiliated with Hinsdale, Good Samaritan, Central DuPage and Edward Hospitals.
